Planning application- do I need to change it?

The planning application has just gone on the council website submitted by my architect. Some of the details aren't correct though and wondering if I need to change it. Can anyone offer advice?

We live in a ex council 1950's semi so don't anticipate any problems with obtaining permission.

The architect has said we want bifold doors and white windows. We actually want sliding doors and black windows. Do I need to ask her to change the planning form?

Also on the form it says a brick finish to the extension but we want a rendered finish. It says rendered finish on the diagram though

Would these changes cause a delay in the planning application stage?

Thanks in advance

That does need changing and you should ask your architect to do it.

Yes - it needs changing. If PP is granted, there will be a condition on it requiring hte work to be carried out in accordance with the approved plans. If you want different finishes, then technically you would need to submitted an application for an amendment. It would be quicker to get the details corrected at this stage.
If your architect has submitted the application on your behalf, he will need to submit accurate plans with correct details.

If it has only just been submitted I would ask your architect to contact the planning officer and request to update the application. They are things that if you don't change it and your neighbours are unhappy, could come back to bite you when the job is finished.

It was submitted 2 weeks ago but only just been validated. Just contacted the architect now to update it. I've left the windows as actually not sure on the colour I wanted but definitely wanted sliding doors

Feeling a little frustrated with the architect right now.

Thank you everyone for your help
