Selling property

Would anyone be able to advise please . I have been separated for 10 years . My ex stayed in the house I moved out . He has now sold it and wants me to sign to take my name off the land registry etc and says the divorce papers will follow in a few weeks?? Should I sign or wait for the divorce papers ?

you need a solicitor. The house will form part of the settlement on divorce and it isn't a good idea to try and negotiate this yourself.
