How much do you think this would cost?

I am hoping to have the cupboards under the stairs redone and some cabinets built either side of the chimney breast. I am not at the stage of getting quotes for this yet but dreaming of getting the nice things done once the building work is done.

I've will attach pictures of the sort of thing I'm looking at. Does anyone have something similar or know roughly how much it would cost? I haven't measured up but the living room looks a similar size either side of the chimney breast. Not necessarily the shelving but I like the cabinets and we need the storage space

Not sure about the chimney breasts but I paid £350 to just have custom doors on my stairs with push close catches. Exactly like your photo but no drawers.

I got sharps in a few years ago to quote to fit under my stairs was 1300... needless to say I didn't get it done!

Hi, we had bespoke shelves £300, fitted wardrobe £380 ( both from local carpenter) and understair cupboards around £800 (with offer from clever closet) please excuse the mess, having loads done at mo and I just have given up! Cx

Cupboards

We are having our alcove shelves and cupboards done next month. The spec is pretty much the same as the ones in your pictures. about 1.2m wide. £650 for installation and if we want him to paint the shelves then that would be another £250. We are doing the painting ourselves.

jali.co.uk are amazing - they do are custom made flat pack if you get my drift. We had cupboards either size of a chimney breast in our last house.

You go online, choose the design you want and enter all the sizes, choose the finish and order. Arrives flat pack so you have to build it, but it's made to fit your space so looks built in.
