We are moving house soon and plan to put an extension on the rear to add more living space. We have friends with similar extensions, the existing kitchen (in the left of the plan) would become a downstairs shower room/ wc and utility room which would probably be our main entrance to house with space for buggy etc. The existing dining room would lead through from living room to new extension and would be used as a play area while children are small.
The extension itself would be a kitchen diner with bifold doors to garden and roof lights of some description.
I have attached rough drawing of my ideas that we will take to architect it wondered if anyone sees any flaws/ improvements that could be made. We’re moving from house that we have done some work on to give us a lovely kitchen diner and it’s a daunting thought knowing we’re going back to start and adding building works on with 2 young children.
