Wicks Kitchen

Planning on knocking kitchen and dinning room into one to have a family kitchen.

Been to wicks and like Sofia in Pewter, need something light as kitchen not huge 3.4x4.8
(Separate utility)

Has anyone got this kitchen and happy with it ?

Also was planning on quartz worktop but saw the zenith compact lava Roche .. again does anyone have this ?

Or think it's a good combination ?

Thanks

We have Sofia with zenith caldera worktop. Was installed last year. Really pleased with it! Any questions ask away!

We have Sofia graphite in a kitchen a similar size and I’m very happy with it. Also went for zenith as worktop and splashback.

Sorry to hijack, but are you happy with the Zenith?

I really like the matt look (and price) of it, and the B&Q equivalent Excilis. I haven't been able to find any recent threads about it. The ones I have are from a couple of years ago and people were struggling to find fitters that had used it.

Did you get Wickes fitters?

Also, have you found it as hardwearing as they say?

Any chance of a cheeky photo?

I meant, can I be cheeky and ask for a photo. Not ask for a cheeky photo...

We must all have great taste !!Smile

Visited Magnet and they do the same worktop. Of course they said it was great !

Sorry posted too soon ...

Pleased to hear others are happy with it.

Is there anything you would do differently ?

I'm currently going to 3 tall units & the fridge

A rounded one
A pull out
And a corner larder

Then other lower units, breakfast bar with hob in it.

Yes we are happy with it. Is easy to clean and doesn't look grubby (show up all crumbs and spills like my previous matt black worktop did). We had it fitted by Wickes and fitter said initially there had been some issues with fitting it until the fitters learnt how to deal with it.

We also went with the wickes fitter and he was fab. He said they don’t all do zenith worktops but he was happy to. The firing was sytraight forward and we even had some corners rounded so the kids don’t poke their eyes out! We had it grooved for the draining board. Will take some photos for you when not pinned to the sofa by sleeping baby.
