How much would it cost? Both to have the kerb dropped and to knock a garden wall down...

Thanks

I think you have to go via the local council for dropped kerb so you would need to contact them
Different authorities will have different charges for this work

I paid £700 to my council just for the dropped kerb about 15yrs ago

where I live it costs £320 for permission from the council, and at least £1000 for the contractor.

You may also need to apply for planning permission for the access to the highway if you live on a classified road (A, B or C road), for which a fee would be payable.

Had ours done last year and it was similar - £350 for the application/licence and about £1000 to do the work.

Wow to be honest I thought it'd be £2k plus. Happy fucking days 😀
