Composite door

Can anyone who had a new composite front door tell me what you paid please?

So far I've got one quote £1,100 for door only and one of £1,600 including fitting it and replacing a glass panel above the door too. Does that sound about right?

Sounds about right. We paid £1450 for a door and the glass above the door. We got a Solidor one and are really pleased with it.

Yes sounds about right. We paid about £1500 but we chose the door to be the composite colour on both sides and also the frame, which makes it a little more expensive

That's good to know. I like the look of the Solidor doors.

I paid £840 including fitting, but I had no glass. That was with Heronhurst.

In retrospect I wish I'd matched the frame to the four colour. Might get that changed which will bump up the price a bit.

A company local to me does door plus frame, fitted, for about £850. I don’t know if coloured frames are extra though.

IIRC I paid £950 with fitting, but I had all my windows replaced at the same time so that may have made it cheaper. This was approx five years ago.
