We are looking to buy at the moment. We've seen a place we like the look of. It has an unconverted cellar. Two chambers. I do not think it would need ceiling raising or floors digging out.
Does anyone know how much it would be to convert into usable rooms? I am thinking playroom/living room with maybe a utility room/(plumbing is in for this) and maybe a downstairs toilet.
If you've done this, what did you use your space for? How big a job is it ( bearing in mind it wouldn't need structural work), how much would you expect to pay in the North West, did it add value?
The house we are looking at is a four bed terrace, with three other floors. If anyone with a similar house would be prepared to share a photo of theirs for inspiration then that would be amazing!
