Can I add a socket to this?

I have a washing machine plugged in under the counter in the utility which has a fused switch above the worktop. I also have a double light switch (one for utility, one for outside lighting). Can I add a plug socket to either of these?

You can add one to the switch for the washing machine, but not too the light switch

Thankyou! I didn't know if I do it straight from the fuse switch rather than the actual socket. Now just need to find someone that will do it - I can't be trusted to not electrocute myself!

Where are you? I am an electrician based in Peterborough but know electricians in other parts of the country as well.

Down in sleepy Somerset. I have an electrician whose done alot of the electrics in the house - I just didn't want to book him in if it's something that couldn't be done. Not helped because he suggested I have ssocket there when we built the utility but I was adamant one wasn't needed!! Moral of the story - always listen to the professionals!!
