Shower over roll top bath

Am looking at buying a house with a lovely bathroom and roll top bath but no room for a shower. I am considering installing a shower over the bath. Can any one tell be about their experiences of this and any points to consider?

Hi @Pamelaaa

I've recently moved my bathroom upstairs (Victorian house). I originally wanted the taps at one end of my bath with the shower attachment overhead, however my plumber said that due to the window, I'd be better off with the centred versions.

It works really well for me, I love it.

Yes we had that in a Victorian house. Shower was on wall (at far end) and then we had an oval style shower rail and curtains. Worked fine. Was similar idea to goldierocks but not quite so stunning!
