IKEA kitchens - leather handles anyone?

We're getting an IKEA kitchen and I love the look of the leather handles and drawer pulls (www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/tools-fittings/knobs-handles/%C3%B6stern%C3%A4s-leather-handle-tanned-leather-art-20348896/).

DH thinks they'll get dirty and look manky within a month. Does anyone have them and if so, do you like them? Have they worn well?

We aren't getting them for the same reason.. I don't think they'll hold up well at all.

I like the look of them but they seem more suited to the light use they would get in a living room/bedroom rather than potentially greasy/sticky hands in a kitchen. I was looking at them in the flesh the other day and they are a lovely pale/nude shade.
