New to Worcester

We are new to Worcester. can anyone recommend

a) a reliable garage which will service a car (and where they won't patronise women)

b) a carpenter or similar who can build shelves.

Hi Fiona WELCOME to Worcester! Not sure about carpenter but can recommend St Johns Garage they are excellent. (I work in the motor trade around here!)

Garage in Branford run by a pal’s son. He is VERY respectful, VERY professional will NOT rip you off and generally all round good bloke.

Egdons garage (they are specialists in Land Rover, but do everything) are amazing and so helpful. Depends which side of Worcester you are as to whether its convenient

Hi Fiona! I've heard very good things about the Bransford garage too. I always use ETB on Hylton Road and they've always been very good too.

Also - there's a Facebook group called 'Worcestershire Mums Network' where people can ask about anything - not just kids stuff and it's really good for trade recommendations.
