WE are relocating to Farnham from Australia. My DH parents are in Outta Winchester so it was a far and near enough choice. We are about looking at 2 houses in Wrecclesham as you seem to get more for your money and we are keen on sending kids to Weydon when ready for high school. It is further from the station than we would like as my husband will commute but thats a comprimise we have decided to take. My issue is making new friends. I am petrified of moving to an area where maybe people all grew up and know each other and our children are slightly older 9, 7 and 3. so friendships and school groups established. Can anyone shed some light on the area and offer some advice. This would be our big forever move and oh my its petrifying. We are currently in London selling out old house and waiting to exchange.
