Gaps between boards of engineered wood flooring

Is this normal - see photos which show size of gaps, largest gap same as thickness of 5p piece - wasn’t like this when first laid

If they aren't glued down they will often move. They can be pushed back together but it's not that easy to do.

The flooring was glued down - I remember the fumes! Does that mean the gaps can’t be fixed, d’you think?
