I guess we all need a bit of colour in our lives!

But does anyone really need this much?!

Not the colours I’d choose, and the orange and the pink are too close together and clash. But there’s nothing wrong with a bit of colour in a house, and it’s easy to repaint.
At least it’s better than the eternal dismal grey that’s been the fashion for so long.

IHeartKingThistle · 10/02/2019 00:21

Jeez, that's not a lot of colour IMO. You'd HATE my house!

RavenLG · 10/02/2019 00:37

Mine too @IHeartKingThistle. I love alll the colours in my house.

This just looks dated to me.

Kescilly · 10/02/2019 07:31

That’s much less color than I was expecting. Agree that it looks a bit dated. I’d rather people have somewhat unique looks instead of all copying the exact same trends anyway.

BentNeckLady · 10/02/2019 07:36

It’s lovely. You’d hate my house too and I’d probably hate yours... I’m guessing it’s “tasteful neutrals” (=dull as fuck grey?)

Bluesheep8 · 10/02/2019 07:41

I've seen "more" (worse?) In terms of use of lots of bold colour tbh. From the pics, it's really easy to see beyond the colour as the light is great so I can easily visualise it in shades more to my own taste (softer neutrals) Particularly the lounge...

LonelyOversharer · 10/02/2019 07:50

Um. That's not a lot of colour! That just looks like it's not been much decorated since the 90's, and the owner has a thing for pink carpets.

My house would make most peoples eyes bleed. I have a thing for teal, turquoise and purple. We're not talking pastel shades. But, I'm also hoping to never have to sell up.

ArtisanPopcorn · 10/02/2019 07:58

Pretty tame colour wise!

GreenHatHacker · 10/02/2019 08:18

I'm just in awe of the room sizes - I think their smallest bedroom is the size of my master! I'd cheerfully have that even with the repainting!

SukisKettle · 10/02/2019 08:21

What's with the soft focus and photos of trunks? They're irrelevant. Is this the latest estate agent twaddle?

fleshmarketclose · 10/02/2019 08:25

Lovely room sizes, not keen on the pink carpets and the orange and pink clash. Not as offensive to me as the grey trend though particularly when teamed with crushed velvet and sparkly shit.

Ooplesandbanoonoos · 10/02/2019 08:55

Hardly any colour other than the children's bedroomsConfused
Are you the estate agent trying to draw attention to it or a rival trying to undercut Grin

Muddlingalongalone · 10/02/2019 09:02

I'm not a fan of the orange but otherwise what a fab house with such huge rooms

Oh god, no I can't stand grey! There is no grey in my house, nor ever will be! It's such a dreary, depressing colour imo.

Don't get me wrong, I love the house - and incredibly cheap compared with prices in my area. The decor certainly wouldn't put me off buying (my own house had fluorescent orange walls downstairs, a flamingo pink bathroom suite and giant purple daisies wallpaper upstairs when I bought it)!

I just felt that the house is a bit jarring/clashing, for my tastes anyway.

My own house has colour, but less vivid and clashing. Each to their own, of course.
