Help To Buy help!

Hi !

We bought our property using help to buy in 2017 and have been saving to pay off the loan before the five years of no interest is up. So far so good.

I've recently been looking at all of the documents as we are due to remortgage and it says we should have been paying a monthly management fee of £1. We have never been asked for this or paid it.

I've emailed them but I'm quite worried now. Has anyone had any experience??

I feel like we were quite ill informed when we signed up for all this and as we were quite young we have been very naive. That's why I'm planning on paying it all off before the 5 years is up.

Any advice would be great.

If you report your post you can ask HQ to move it to Property.
