URGENT help needed with fitting a gas hob

I need some urgent advice please. We had a kitchen designed by Magnet and requested a 5 burner gas hob. Magnet recommended a Zanussi hob (Zanussi zgh76524xx), 75 cm wide. We then researched online and found a very well reviewed 5 burner gas hob from Hoover for a better price (Hoover HGV75SXVB) also 75 cm wide so ordered that instead, as Magnet seem to put quite a mark up on appliances.

Now that the hob unit is assembled, the cut-out for the unit is only 55cm wide and the Hoover hob won't fit. Would the Zanussi have fit? I've checked both the Hoover and Zanussi website and they don't specify the size of the unit required to to fit each hob.

We're running out of our window to return units so would massively appreciate any advice

What is the worktop?

when you say unit is 55 do you mean the cupboard under or the hole to put the hob in. some 75 wide hobs go in 55 wide hole some in 72 wide hole. the size of unit under shouldnt matter as the hob normally goes in the thickness of the worktop. normally best to check with the designer if you want to change something so they can advise if it will work. also zanussi better quality than hoover
