My mortgage is up for renewal in September and we'd like some work done on our house with the cost added to the mortgage.
Thinking ahead I realised in terms of quotes/ booking in work etc I don't know where to start.
We'd like our existing garage converted, then the current living room and kitchen knocked together to make a big kitchen-diner.
I'm so naive that I don't even know if we can employ one 'person' who essentially would do/ oversee all of this (plumbing, decorating, kitchen fitting etc)
Can anyone help? How does this work who/ what do I need to look for?
