Just wondering if anyone with knowledge of leicester/leicestershire area is able to help. Is Anstey a good place to buy a house? Would you expect the houses to have a higher or lower price tag in comparison to other villages around leicester? Thanks for your help.

Anstey is lovely, I would move there in a heartbeat if I could afford it! Cropston (the next village along) is even nicer

Many thanks polkadot. My knowledge of the area is very limited, so would love to hear more views.

Dear All
Anymore views on Anstey? Hoping there are more MN members from Leicestershire.

Thanks

Don’t know much about Anstey, but we live on the Market Harborough side. It’s lovely, good transport links, schools and great independent shops. The villages have a wide variety of houses at different prices.

I grew up going to school in Anstey and it’s lovely. Big enough to have shops. Excellent bus links to Beaumont Leys And the city centre plus a stones throw from excellent walking and scenery at Bradgate Park. Price wise it’s very similar to other villages in the Leicester area.
