Plumbers have laid lots of polypipe pipes and underfloor manifold and wet underfloor heating in new extension, and then become uncontactable. 2 weeks at least. Doing it to another local builder too.
They told my other half it wouldn’t need pressure testing.
They have already caused 2 months delay, because they didn’t check that the system upstairs would fit through the joists , so the builder had to make support for them.
The builder is NOt impressed with their work. Builder is experienced, and a trouble shooter, and tested the system with water somas to get on with screed pour. It passed.
Problem 2. It is now freezing outside and we can’t drain it. The pipes are open with insulation on top. I have insisted on a water pressure test prior to screed pour. Screed can’t pour when freezing!
I am just so worried that we are going to end up with a leak, that I would really appreciate it if someone could eyeball this and say - ‘ yeah that ‘s like the system we had ‘ or , if you think there’s a problem, let me know.
Screed to go down when freeze is over.
