New sofa covers?

Hi! We are doing up our sitting room but we are finding matching colours with our teal sofas difficult (DFS Angelic foam). We don't want to buy new ones as we want to get through the spewing baby stage before spending that sort of money. Does anyone know if it's possible to buy new fabric covers for sofas and sofa cushions?

Trouble is there are so many different shapes of sofa. Plumbs does covers, but all the ones I have seen by them are pretty nasty in my opinion because they are made of stretchy nylon and they are not cheap. Your best bet would be to get loose covers made, but again, it won't be cheap, and might be more expensive than replacing the sofa.

In addition to stretch covers, Plumbs also do made-to-measure covers in a range of fabrics. They should be able to come and give you a no-obligation quote. I got made-to-measure textured cotton removable covers from them for both my sofas which can go in the washing machine. Rather naively, I chose a cream colour having not become a parent at that stage. The covers are now about 15 years old and have survived 12 years of spewing, food spills, art accidents etc from my two DCs pretty much unscathed apart from slight fading. They were not particularly cheap but they have been very good value.
