I’ve only ever had built under or range type ovens so can anyone help me with built in ones? I think I now want a built in one as looks easier to use and clean! What is the difference between a single and double oven? When I look at interiors magazines some people seem to have two or three ovens what are they, three singles?? I’m confused?

I have 3 built in eye level ovens and a induction hob, always had range style cookers before but much prefer not having to bend down to use ovens. Depending on your family size 2 singles or 1 double should be enough. I have a large family and also do a lot of hosting hence I like the flexibility of 3.

A double one is normally a fan main oven and then a grill/ smaller oven on top. Single ones can have a grill function as well as oven

We’re a family of 5, so if I have a double oven can you cook and grill at the same time? I think I’m leaning towards to singles. I’m also looking at induction hobs, they look so easy to clean! Do you like yours? I don’t suppose your oven is a Neff hide n slide is it? Thanks

Yes you can cook and grill at the same time, induction hobs are very easy to clean. No knobs to collect food debris and grease just a nice flat surface. I have Miele ovens.

Mine is Neff Slide and Hide and I love it.
