What is Frodsham (also Dunham on the hill, Helsby etc) like to live in?

Hi everyone, my partner and I are planning to move in the next couple of months, looking for a place in the Frodsham or surrounding area but don't know much about it, drove through it a while back and it looks lovely, particularly like the look of Dunham on the Hill but we've experienced in the past that looks can be deceiving! Any advice from anyone would be great! Thanks

Nice, not too far from Chester. Elton (also nearby) isn't as nice and you do get a whiff of stanlow sometimes but overall 3 nice places

The villages outside Frodsham and helsby are nice too, Manley, Kingsley, alvanley, norley, all lovely.
