So we know to find the wood in the wall to drill into. We know to use a detector to avoid pipes cable. We know the ‘rule’ of cables running up and/or across from switches sockets. BUT our detector is shit and puts huge swathes of wall as metal or says there’s wood so we start drilling and it’s just plaster. Our walls are like bloody pin cushions. The detector is a Bosch supposed to be good. Can anyone recommend a good reliable one? We’ve just moved into a newly renovated house and are making a bloody pig’s ear of it!
