3.6M doors open plan--> garden: sliding / french etc

Hello,

I'm sure it's been asked before but any tips on deciding whether to go for sliding / french etc doors to garden from large open plan kitchen / dining / family room? Open plan room faces garden NW. Hoping for level access to patio area. We live in the South East.

Not keen on bifold, was planning sliding as can open just a bit (keep toddlers inside). Also like slim uprights.
However the more I look into options the more appear. Would something more traditional look better at night?

The space is 3.6m wide by 2m high. To the LHS of the doors would be the kitchen area with a window.

Be grateful of your thoughts!

I think sliding looks great. I love idea of bifold but think the big pile of folded doors always looks a bit messy and with a NW facing garden how often will you actually want it right open. Friends have 3 large paned sliding doors with narrow uprights. They let in loads of light and open 2/3 which I think works well.
