Has anyone bought a cheapish but robust portiere rod?

The ones I can find are either too cheap so will be flimsy rubbish I expect, or too expensive as in 100's!!! Thanks.

We just bought cut to size wooden curtain poles from Argos, only £15 and are very robust.
