Residence 9 windows

We need to replace our windows and I have been looking online at the residence 9 windows, and just wondered if anyone had any experience of them. Do they look as good in real life as they say they do? And how much do they work out price-wise compared to normal upvc? Would be grateful for any information /opinions.

I've not seen the residence 9 branded windows, but I replaced one window in my house (leaving all others original timber) with something similar because it was at a height where scaffolding was needed to paint it. It is a flush casement with astragal bars and a monkey tail handle and cost about twice the price of bog standard UPVC.

As a rule, I really dislike UPVC windows but it looks surprisingly good from both inside and out and I'm pleased that I chose it.

Thanks for your reply III77 Do you mind me asking what brand window it was you installed?

I’m also not a fan of upvc although unfortunately that’s currently what all the windows on our 1930s house are made of (and the front door too Sad ). Am hoping to replace them with something more authentic looking and have heard good things about the appearance of Residence 9 windows. It would be good to look at some other brands as well though to compare so I’d love to know what you went for.

I've just dug out the invoice to check - the brand was Envisage. I think they were pretty new (certainly were to my installer) when I bought mine, but a quick google suggests the brand is quite widely available now.
