We're getting a new family bathroom put in & work starts next week so I need to get ordering.

I've looked at Victorian Plumbing, Soak, Bathstore & Victoria Plumb. Think I'm leaning towards Victorian Plumbing at the moment but just wanted to see if I'm missing anyone obvious.

We live in a Georgian Farmhouse so we're going for the traditional look & need basin/ vanity unit, double ended bath but not freestanding unfortunately, shower enclosure & shower.

I always look at Plumbnation, they don’t have a showroom but the prices are often a lot cheaper for the more high end stuff. Our plumber always recommends Grohe for showers, Twyford or Mira for shower trays and Roca for sanitary ware.

C.P.Hart have incredible bathrooms

We’re in the process of having our bathroom done. We ordered a Burlington vanity unit, basin, bath and toilet from Drench, taps and tiles from Victorian Plumbing and shower quadrant and tray from Soak.

Absolutely no problem with any of them, so can recommend. I’ve not heard good things about Victoria Plumb - no firsthand experience but I personally don’t think the quality looks up to much anyway.

Please go to a showroom, there are laws being brought in this year to regulate the bathroom industry because budget companies have been selling unfit products.

Thanks. Just spent hours down the rabbit warren that is bathroom options. Think we're getting there, Drench seems to have most of what we need apart from the right bath.

Cheshire renovation CP Hart are well out of my price range but do have some lovely things. Sadly I don't live near any bathroom showrooms or have time to travel to one so it will need to be an online order. I'm sticking to well known brands and for design rather than price so hopefully I won't get caught out. Our fitter is casting an eye over our order before we place it just to check it over.

We’ve bought from Bathstore at one of their sales as we were happy with them before. I wouldn’t recommend them any more: taps are wonky and don’t rest properly on the sinks (whether that’s sink or tap related I’m not sure). The traditional looking shower heads have a rubber ring arouns that just keeps coming off, very annoying.
