Can you tell me your secret?!

We have a decent size garage, but it just so full of (total crap)stuff!

What storage have you got out there? Any tips would be fab!

I’m joining in on this post as I’d love to get my garage sorted. It’s a 2.5 car garage at the moment we could only fit a Little Tikes Cosy Coupe in there.

In theory the only things that should be in there are our Christmas tree/decorations and our tumble dryer.

We've got a small single garage attached to the house, but it's absolutely clean & tidy. It houses a couple of bikes, a treadmill, freezer and dryer. When we had a new kitchen, we salvaged the old units and had them re-installed along one side of the garage, so the kitchen appliances go under the worktop and we have a run of cupboards (wall and floor mounted) for all the "stuff" such as DIY, tools, cleaning & gardening stuff, car jump leads/tow rope, etc. We painted the ceiling, walls and floors, so it's actually quite like a utility room rather than a garage. It has a loft, so we put the "junk" up there, like Christmas decorations, boxes, wallpaper table, boxes of toys/books to take to sell at the car boot sale, etc.

Mine's shocking. I was in there 5 minutes ago and just thought 'Jesus'.

We have something similar to this but only because I ordered it and then paid someone £50 to assemble it!

I also have the other item for wrapping paper/gift-tags/tape etc

We have smaller versions (last photo) for lightbulbs/batteries etc

At some point we’ll put DD’s old wardrobe in there for clothes that don’t currently fit me Blush

Our secret was to get a skip, be hard hearted and chuck out all the junk. Other stuff went to charity or car boot sales. We also used the old kitchen cupboards when we had the kitchen re done, and oh built himself a workbench out of one of the old countertops. We now edit our posessions very carefully so it doesn't build up again.
