If you are moving from City A to City B, a few hours' journey apart, is it better to choose a firm in City A where you are already living, or in City B that you are moving to?

City A - they can pack one day, store overnight if necessary and then travel the following day. If it's not a journey that can be done in one day (including the packing and unpacking time) then even a van from City B will have to stay overnight somewhere.

Depends on too many factors, eg ometimes City B might be a cheaper area than city A
