Hide tv cables

Hi.

I would like some advice please. We have recently had a bit of a swap around in our living room.

Our tv aerial point is in the corner of our room and so our tv was previously on a corner tv unit, along with our WiFi, dvd player and satellite box.

We have now decided to move the tv onto a large sideboard in the centre of the room. It is in the centre of the same wall as before, rather than being in the corner.

The room looks much better now but the corner where the tv previously was is now fully exposed and all the plug and aerial sockets are fully exposed, not to mention all the ugly power cables.

What can I do to hide all of this? The space is about 1 metre wide.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

I had this. Short of paying a fortune to have the wires channeled in to the walls and electricity points moved, the only option you have is to hide it as best as possible.

Lucky all I was hiding was some wiring so I bought a sideboard unit and I can no longer see the birds nest of wiring, though it is still there, annoyingly collecting dust bunnies...

You can buy cable tidies to at least put all the cabling in to one place or put trunking up on the walls to hold it all too.
