Tv Antenna

Hi,

We have recently moved to a property where we have 2 tv connections, one in the drawing room and the other in bedroom.

I was trying to connect my tv with the drawing room connector and thought there could be something at my end like loose connection or problem in my television that's not allowing me to connect (i also mentioned that in my property report that I'm unable to connect but will figure it out later).

After around 3 weeks (during the Christmas period), i found that there's no external antenna at my property (villa), while all the other villas have external antennas.

I contacted my property agent and notified her. She came back to me saying that all the previous tennants were either using Foxtel or Pay Tv, so they didn't have any problem and the landlord is not obliged to provide an antenna to us.

Is this something that i need to raise with the property manager again or they are saying it right?

Appreciate your prompt reply on this.

Regards,

There is no obligation for a Landlord to provide a TV aerial unless there is something explicit in your contract to the contrary. Have you tried an indoor aerial?

Are you in uk? Here ll is not obliged to provide it unless your property spec stated it. If you are in UK can you get Sky dish or cable like Virgin , or use an indoor aerial.
