Recommendations needed: Oven with a recess at back to accommodate a gas pipe

Hi
John Lewis has just left after being unable to fit new AEG oven. The problem being the gas pipe which feeds the hob prevents the oven fitting in. The old oven has a cutout/ recess which accommodates the pipe. Have been advised to look for an oven with a similar recess. Has anyone had a similar problem and what oven did you go for?

where does the pipe go? I thought they usually had a space at about skirting level for pipes.

A photo may help.

Unlike gas cookers, a gas hob has a rigid metal pipe, so you might consider getting a gas fitter (qualified gas-safe) to change the run of the pipe. These days they are often in 15mm copper.

It runs vertically down the back. I think I may have to change the run of the pipe. Disappointing I was so look forward to using my shiny new oven at Christmas.
