Steam oven

I have been offered a steam oven as part of kitchen refit I know nothing about them

Has anyone any experience with them , are they any good or just a fad ?

Ooh yes
I got one, still playing with it, I'm only using it for vegetables atm
But it's great so far
It has a little jug that you fill with water
Wipe clean and sponge away water

I have had one for over 9 years ( well 2 really one at last house and one in new house) so not just a fad.

Really great for succulunt roasts etc as moist on the inside and crispy outside in short cokking periods, perfect rice ready to serve with no draining, veg, christmas puddings etc.
