Hi please someone help! Maybe this is more legal...?

Anyway we have an offer accepted on our house our solicitor asked us for a number of docs and we supplied everything we have...they then came back and said they need- Planning Permissions/Building Regulation Approvals/ Completion Certificate

We bought the house in 2013 brand new build from a well known builder. And i cannot find this information! Everything I ever received has been kept safe in a file and i dont recall ever seeing these Sad

What do I do next? Is the house sale doomed! Any experiences or advice much appreciated

Planning will be on council portal and you could call building control and ask them if they hold certs.

lifebegins that is really helpful thank you

Who is your new build warranty with? NHBC often do the building regulations too, so it could be on your warranty. Either way the council records will show it.

Try contacting the builder and see if they have a copy or reference to these documents.

Check with solicitor who acted for you in the purchase

Thanks for everyone's helpful comments I'm slightly more calm than yesterday

My estate agent managed to locate the planning permission themselves....I have contacted NHBC for the certificate of completion and await their response

Thanks again all Smile
