Something behind fireplace

A card fell down the back of our large metal Victorian fire place. Every time it's windy it rattles about and drives me nuts.

How big a job is it to move a fire place?

I've put up with it for 5 years!

So where is it now, somewhere inside the metal surround?

If there is already a gap along the back of the mantel it may not be such a big job as it sounds like it’s not too firmly fixed to the wall...!

Also, do you have a damper plate to close to stop the wind coming in?

Thanks miniepie. It's behind the metal surround. The gap is a few mm. I will look up a damper plate. We use fire daily so don't want to put one of those balloon things/ newspaper up there.
