Sorry, I know it's not the most interesting topic!
I need replacement driveway gates, as my wooden ones are rotting.
I've really struggled to get anyone to give me a quote, as I want to have metal framed with composite boards, rather than wood.
The width is 2.5m, and the gates will be 1.9m high. Black frames, with black boards, a flat top design, pretty much like on the attached picture.
The quote I have is for £1500 + VAT (including fitting).
As I have nothing to compare this with, I have no idea if it's reasonable or not, though it seems expensive. But that's a gut reaction, rather than having any science behind it!
Does anyone have any idea if this is good or bad? I'm in Yorkshire if that makes a difference.
