How big is your bathroom?

If you’ve managed to fit a bath and shower separately in?

In our extension ours will be 2.3 by at least that again (hard to say exactly from plans) and we are desperate for a nice freestanding bath but want a shower too!

Had planned en suite upstairs but unfortunately having to do away with second storey and en suite with it for now :(

Watching with interest as the bathroom in our new house will be about this size once we've shifted one of the walls...I didn't think there would be room for a shower but desperate for a freestanding bath!

More is less in this situation. You’ll not really fit everything in and nothing will be a decent size and you won’t be able to swing the proverbial cat! Have a comfortable wide bath (not freestanding as they take up lots of space and you cannot have a shower over) and a glass shower screen. Lovely wide sink, heated towel rail and plenty of storage.

If it’s an en suite have a big luxurious shower and do without the bath. Shoehorning everything in looks cheap and not luxurious because everything will be small.

One of ours is 2.5m square and we have a free standing bath in it (back against the wall) and a separate 90cm quadrant corner shower. Fits fine.

Much depends on the layout of the door and toilet pipework.
