Bath Reseal

Does anyone know what a reasonable cost would be to reseal a bath please? For reference I'm in Yorkshire.

I know we could do it ourselves. We did but made a bit of a hash. And it's not just a case of cleaning it. It's not mouldy but cracked. Basically our LL installed himself prior to us moving in but did not fill the bath (we think). As a result it's permanently cracked and needs some professional attention.

Pig of a job but something a handyman could do. I once resealed a shower and hope never to have to do anything like that again!

You are tenants by the sound of things. Not your responsibility to sort it. Tell the LL it needs doing. He should get it fixed.

Yeah I've tried and failed. Made a right pigs ear of it.

Asking LL should seem simple but I'd probably still be waiting this time next year and I'm worried about water getting into the wall and down to the kitchen.

It cost me £20 but that was an add on to another plumbing job, so no travel time / costs.
