How do we remove this dishwasher?

We inherited a Miele integrated dishwasher from the previous owner of our house. It's been playing up and we're on the verge of ordering a new one, but want to pull it out and check the hoses at the back first. Trouble is, we can't get it out. We've unscrewed the 4 screws just inside the door frame, so it's no longer attached at the side. We've also unscrewed the front two legs, so it's tipping forwards a little. We can wobble it a little, but can't seem to pull it forward. It's not obvious that anything is holding it in place, though part of the problem may be that there's nothing to get hold of to pull it, other than the door. What are we missing?

Do you need to lower it to release it at the top. Some of the screws at the bottom panel may do so.

There doesn't seem to be anything holding it at the top - we can shine a light right through the space.

Can you google the installation instructions and follow in reverse?

It looks like it’s lower that the floor a bit so you might need to lift it up and bit to slide it out?

SpoonBlender · 24/11/2018 18:03

I reckon BentNeckLady has it - the flooring has been put down after the dishwasher was in. Push the top of the washer back to lift the front foot edge, might take some work if it's stuck to the floor with any gunk. Hopefully you'll be able to sneak it out over the boards.

We've tried that. :-(

Open the door 45 degrees and use that to yank it hard forward and upwards. The pipes and cabling will be long enough to extend out to four feet or so, so they're not a concern.

Thanks @spoonBlender. That's sort of what we've been doing, though very tentatively rather than a hard yank because we didn't know if the door is the right thing to be pulling - could it not come off at the hinges?

The dishwasher is obviously very heavy. I'm wondering whether those metal bits at the bottom come off (as they have screws) and whether that could make it lighter.
