Stylish Modern Living Room Ceiling Light

Have had major renovations including new kitchen etc. We have had the sitting room redecorated in a pinky, beigy grey colour (Elephants Breath) and room has an orange rug on polished wood floor.
Would like a ceiling light that has the wow factor. Simple and modern.
Do any of you stylish people have recommendations? Could show me yours? Thanks so much. Budget up to £500 but preferably closer to £250.

Thank you, I really like both of them but not sure they are quite right. There is more chrome in the room so brass might not work, though looks great.
I think I have attached picture of current light. Perhaps something that hangs down slightly lower would be better?

Wow thanks so much. You have kept me busy this morning. I have lights in halls and landings similar to Debenhams ones and I really like them, I also like the cheap Wayfair chrome wire one but it may be too small.

I am seriously reconsidering the Samatha linen as its nice and big, hangs quite low and is really calm and elegant, so perhaps a different kind of wow.

Love the Tom Raffield lights. I've poured over the JL lights for ages and no idea why I discounted these. I've sent the link to my partner but would be happy with most of them.

The Foscaini Cabouche is absolutely beautiful. Ive found a UK stockist and have sent link to my partner also. I suspect it might be a bit too beautiful for our modest home though.

I love the Samantha linen one, and you know they do it in wood as well - the Mia, in walnut. It could be a nice offset to the grey and chrome in your sitting room.

Now add in some cheese plants in macramé plant baskets and you'll be totally instagram-worthy!!

This is mine. Might not be as high end as you're looking for (£25 from Dunelm) but it gets lots of compliments.
