Moving to Cheltenham

Me and my partner are thinking about moving to Cheltenham to be near family.

Houses with in our budget are mainly in west Cheltenham. Near hesters way and prince elizabeth way.

Our main concerns are the schools for the kids and the crime rate, anti social stats seem to be very high. Does any one have info or an opinion who live with in that area?

I sold my flat to move to rented when I lived near there to get my dc into a better school. Do you want to buy or rent? What's your budget

When we were looking to buy our house we looked all around the Cheltenham and Gloucester area. We looked at West Cheltenham as it was in our budget but found we could get more house for our money if we looked towards Gloucester if you're happy to go further afield, particularly Brockworth and Quedgeley areas.

I can't see anything that I would consider within 5 miles. I think it's the time of the year though as things do crop up in better areas. Cheltenham is an amazing place to live but I would be very uncomfortable with those areas
