Hi everyone,

We are shortly moving to a small village called Manning’s Heath in Horsham with our two boys aged 10 and 8.

Would love to hear from people who know the area?

Is there lots going on for kids??

Really hope we’re doing the right thing Confused

Hi im about 10 mins away from Mannings Heath, i dont believe there is much to do there for kids, but Horsham which is minutes away maybe better. What are you looking for in terms of things to do?

Happy to travel into Horsham as Manning Heath is quite small!

  • hoping to find a scouts group or similar. Maybe rugby for my youngest. My eldest is a bit of a computer geek so maybe a coding or Lego club etc?

I am sure you will find all of that very local to you. I know the scouts are in Horsham and Southwater but you will need to get them onto the waiting list asap as i understand its quite long.
Have a google of those activities in Horsham and see what comes up.
There are various facebook groups too. Horsham parents and horsham parent network are both great for ideas and suggestions of activities and ways of meeting other families etc
Horsham is pretty social once you get out and about. Smile

You're very near to Horsham Rugby Club, they're a couple of miles outside MH and have an active Mini's section.

@tattychicken - that's great, thanks- my 7 yr old plays in Reigate at the moment, so he'll be pleased he can carry on!
