RGI application one tenant failed credit check

One of my tenants does not work due to childcare but CR has failed her . The other tenant should pass alright. The unemployed one is the lead tenant . If they swapped around so the earning one is the lead tenant would this work? Thanks

I should imagine that would be fine. Me and my DH have applied for rented properties in the past, where I've not worked due to childcare and my husband did. He was lead tenant and we always passed.

Phone the tenant referencing agency. My tenants both failed but it turned out it was bc the agency was still waiting for some outstanding documents. Weird. Not sure why they didn't wait til they had everything before doing the report

The thing is I want to get RGI and I think both need to pass to get this insurance. That is the problem

Yes they will both need to pass or she will need a guarantor who will pass
