I've viewed a small garden plot with outline planning permission for a tiny - 55 square feet - 2 bed bungalow in a cheapish area.
It's tricky working out completed value price as the other houses in the road are 3 bed semi's - there are 2 other bigger bungalows which have probably gone on previous garden plots.
I'll be managing contractors for the self build and probably stay there for a couple of years. I have limited finance but enough cash for the land and roughly 75% of the build with the idea of a small mortgage to finish off.
Over the weekend the estate agent tells me there has been a below asking price offer. Of course they're not going to give me any hints.
Any ideas as to an inspired next step?
