We are choosing between two plans for a side return kitchen diner from our architect.
Option 1 is what we originally had in mind and it has more kitchen counter space with the island. On the downside, it has a flat roof.
Option 2 has the kitchen towards the centre of the house and a nice area with dining table and window seat under the skylight/glass roof. That roof is pitched. But I'm worried that the kitchen would feel split between the main area and the part with the fridge freezer, boiler etc.
What are your thoughts?
