HB says high readings of damp in bay window. We have asked for surveyor to call to discuss this but so far (after an email, a week wait and a chase up call) he has not. We will be totally renovating the property and wonder if spending £500 on a damp specialist would be a waste of money. We had a damp course put in in our last property for a couple of hundred and we have already factored in the windows cost to replace the windows. In reality what is the worst case senerio and cost for the problem?
