Me and DH just chatting about how many houses near us have been reduced recently. He said after brexit it’ll only get worse but why? I’m genuinely asking how will Brexit affect our housing market as I’m really unsure?

So no one really knows what will happen after brexit but it’s predicted that the banks may “tighten their belts” so to speak.
They may be less likely to lend to people, and lend less. This will reduce the buying power and therefore mean that house prices would need to fall in order to be sold.

That’s just one scenario, but it’s based on historical behaviour so probably a pretty accurate one
