Buying a house

Good morning. We are looking to buy a house and we have seen a lovely property in South Oxhey that has a lot of + for us , and only one - .... and that is the bad reputation of the area. We drove around there a few times, in the mornings, late in the evening, we didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. Any opinions will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks😊

I used to work in Watford and to be honest it doesn’t have a great reputation nit I have friends living there and are happy there...there good and bad everywhere.

I always go with 'location, location, location'. If things don't go well and you need to sell or just when you come to sell then it could be more difficult in an area with a 'bad rep'. Other than that buy what you want and where you want to live.
