Pale paint colour for dark hall

We are having our hall stairs and landing plastered and painted. It’s dark upstairs because we lost the side window when we had an extension. I’m looking for a nice pale paint, maybe white or a v pale grey. I’d go with white but I’m really stuck because I don’t think pure brilliant white would be right ( fine on paintwork) but what other whites are nice?

Dulux do a Light and Space' range. We used it when we painted our dark hall, definitely worth it. Just used their coastal glow in our very dark utility room, it's lovely and light and warm now.

I did wonder about that light and space paint, so you think it works then?

I do. We plan to use it in the hall when we've saved up enough to get new flooring and the walls skimmed.
